More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921 and 1929. Members of the Reeds Spring High School chapter of NHS must maintain a 3.25 GPA and perform 5 hours of community service each semester, including at least 2 hours service to the school. Members are invited to join NHS their Sophomore thru Senior years based upon the NHS characteristic listed above.
