Trip Sheet-----DCI Broken Arrow-----16 July 2019

Updated 28 June 2019

If I can find a corps that will let us watch them rehearse, we will leave earlier in the day to do so.  Watching a DCI Corps rehearse is one of the best educational experiences for a HS Band Student or future Band Teacher.

Weather-Figure on HOT conditions.  Bring water and sunscreen or you will get burned and be miserable.  Oklahoma summers are not to be trifled with.

Uniform-Dress in a manner that will represent our school and community positively.

1200-LOAD @RSHS Band Room

1205-Leave RSHS (4 Hours including stops)

405-Arrive Broken Arrow HS-1901 E Albany St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012

410-Watch Rehearsals if possible/catch lot warm ups

600-Dinner in Broken Arrow (Whataburger, Sonic, Wendys, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. nearby)

645-Head back to Stadium for show

730-DCI Tour of Champions Show (Blue Devils, Blue Stars, Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders, Cadets, Carolina Crown, Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard!)

1100 PM-Show ends/load up/leave (4 Hours including stops)

300 AM-Arrive @RSHS/GO HOME AFTER ROOM/BUSES ARE CLEAN (GOAL IS 5 MINUTE CLEAN UP)

***Meal times, corps observation times, and any times may change on the day of the show depending on circumstances.  This will be a chance to see the best marching groups in the world rehearse, warm up, and perform. Be paying attention and be awesome humans. BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO DO THE RIGHT THING!

DCI Costs-$40 per ticket.  Bring money for meals, snacks, and souvenirs (you’ll want something, trust me)

If you have questions, please email me and GO WOLVES!
