Festival Info: Prelims/Finals, grouped by band size, judge's clinic included, turf field, high quality judging and feedback!

OMMF is a prelims/finals format marching band festival that strives to meet the educational, performance, and feedback-based needs of bands of all sizes and ability levels.  Originally created as a festival for smaller bands, OMMF has grown into a full day celebration of bands and their families, with bands from 12 to 175 members performing throughout the day in 2019.  We frequently have bands that are only halfway through their competitive season, as well as those bands that are finishing up their season at OMMF.   We strive to hire adjudicators that will give feedback appropriate to the size, ability level, and needs of your particular group.

Entry forms will be posted here and midwestmarching.com in early 2020.

We have had so much positive feedback and attendance over the last few years, and since we consistently have more bands expressing interest than our day accommodates, we will be accepting entries on the website up to a limit of 24 bands.  All other entries will be placed on and notified they are on a waiting list, and spots will be filled on a first come-first served basis.  If you sign up and decide not to participate please let us know ASAP so we can let other bands know about the opening.

When you enter using the website above, you should automatically receive an email receipt, and if you are on the waiting list we will let you know ASAP.

Judges Panel:

TBA for 2020

The festival fee will be $200, and I will email you an invoice for your records in the next week or so after you have entered. Please look for final details/schedules to come to your email at least 2 weeks prior to the contest.

In order to provide the most performance opportunities for bands of all sizes, we group 4 or 5 competition divisions by band size for prelims, and 2 divisions by band size for finals.  We also accommodate time frames for those groups that are participating in other area competitions on the same day through close partnership with organizers of said festivals.  Here at Reeds Spring High School, you will find ample parking, concessions, a turf field and high quality facilities for performance, and plenty of beautiful green spaces for your band to enjoy a day in the Ozarks!

We invite you and your band family to join us for a day of performance, fun, and feedback that will help your program grow and flourish!  As always, please feel free to email for more information, and I'll see you at the show!
