Immunization Information for Next School Year

State law requires that you receive a 2nd dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4) immunization prior to the start of your senior year.
You must provide documentation of receiving this immunization to the high school nurse prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. You will not be allowed to start school until this documentation is received. If you have any questions, you may contact Nurse Rebecca at 272-8171 x 1311.

The State no longer allows school districts to order religious exemption cards to give to parents, and the Stone County Health Department has informed us they will no longer be giving out religious exemption cards.

Since the State of Missouri requires that school districts keep the original card on file to be considered valid, we can’t accept a copy printed off the internet. So, if you are wanting to sign a religious exemption for your child’s immunizations you have the following options.

  • Contact the Bureau of Immunization and Assurance and request they mail you a card to complete and turn in to the school nurse. 1-800-219-3224
  • Contact the Taney County Health Department at 417-334-4544 and make an appointment to go and get a religious exemption card from them to complete and turn in to the school nurse.

We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please know this situation is out of our control.
