Reeds Spring High School’s volleyball team wrapped up a good week by defeating Parkview 3-0. Earlier in the week, the Lady Wolves also beat Clever 3-0. Against Clever, Kennedy Brown had 12 kills. Brynn Hogan and Riley Sadler each had four blocks, Amarah Porter had 32 assists, and Carley Kite had 13 digs.
Against Parkview, Jade Watson had four aces and ten kills. The team’s record is now 4-3.
The RSHS Wolves thumped Mt. Vernon 42-0. Touchdowns were scored by Evan Gross, Caden Wiest, Preston Blubaugh, Addison Abshire, and James Dowdy. Miguel Campos made all six of his extra-point attempts. The Wolves are 2-1 on the season.
The Lady Wolves softball team lost to McDonald County, Rogersville, Dora, and Cassville.
The RSHS girls tennis team lost to Springfield Catholic 6-3. Fralynn Fredrick-Patten won her singles match. The team also lost 6-3 to Forsyth. Sophia Brown, Madison Sieg, and Madison Langston all won their singles matches.
At the Panther Classic Tournament in Branson, the Lady Wolves lost to Willow Springs, Clever, and Forsyth.
At the Seneca Invitational, Evan Brandsma was the top finisher for the Reeds Spring boys, in 15th place. The boys placed eighth overall. Jenna Adams was 24th overall and the girls finished sixth as a team.
