Golf Team Wins Tournament

Reeds Spring High School’s golf team won the Forsyth Tournament last week. Ty Cooper was the individual champion, Tucker Blevins was seventh, and Reece McMurdo was eighth. A few days later, the Wolves finished second at Aurora. Cooper was fourth overall and McMurdo eighth.

The RSHS baseball team beat Mt. Vernon 4-3. Justin Locke pitched 6 2/3 innings and had 13 strikeouts. Dane Smith came in as a reliever and earned the win. A few days later, the Wolves dropped a close game to Cassville 7-5.

At the Nixa Invitational, the RSHS boys track team finished sixth overall. Tanner Hirschi won the pole vault and the triple jump. Lance Hafar was second in the high jump. The girls team finished 13th overall.


The RSHS boys tennis team defeated Aurora 7-2. Winners in singles matches included Connery Spain, Matthew Greenwalt, and Jaden McGuirk. Greenwalt and Ben Todd won their doubles match, so did Spain and McGuirk. A few days later, the Wolves lost a close match to Monett 5-4.
