National Honor Society Welcomes 46 New Members


Reeds Spring High School inducted 46 new members into the National Honor Society on Monday, November 9. NHS recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Members of the RSHS chapter must maintain a 3.25 GPA and perform five hours of community service each semester, including at least two hours of service to the school. Members are invited to join NHS their sophomore through senior years.

The keynote speaker was Audrey Richards, a 2011 Reeds Spring graduate who recently ran for political office in the 7th U.S. Congressional District.

RSHS also welcomed three NHS members who transferred from other schools: Annie Kochanowicz, Skyelynn Seewald, and Channa Tschetter.
