Softball Team Picks Up First Win of Season

 
Reeds Spring High School’s softball team won its first game of the season, beating Ava 4-3. Cassidy Quick had a walk-off RBI hit for the Lady Wolves. RSHS dropped its other games last week, losing to McDonald County, Rogersville, and Cassville. Suzy Karako hit her first home run I the game against Cassville.

Volleyball
The Lady Wolves volleyball team won both of its matches last week, beating Clever 3-0 and Monett 3-0. Bella Fuller had 21 kills against Monett.

Football
The Wolves lost to Mt. Vernon, 28-10. Matt Allison scored the lone touchdown on a pass from Colton Cramblett. Cramblett also kicked a field goal. RSHS is now 1-2 on the year.


Tennis
The Lady Wolves tennis lost to Springfield Catholic 9-0 and lost to Forsyth 5-1. At the Forsyth Tournament, the doubles team of McKenzie Coffelt and Emilee Dees won two out of three matches. The doubles team of Madison Langston and Madison Sieg won a thrilling match against Forsyth.

Cross Country
At Carthage, Dominic Noriega was the top finished for RSHS, followed by Evan Brandsma, Ethan Gordon, Jacob Gordon, Carson Bookhout, Logan Noriega, and Reed Thierbach. Nicole Yendes was the lone runner for the girls team.
