Families can receive help with the FAFSA on Tuesday, November 19. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and it is the main source of financial aid for college students. The FAFSA is probably the most challenging thing that families have to do in their college journey.
The RSHS Student Success Advisor, Paige Cyrus, will help guide you through the process.
Parents can drop by anytime between 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the RSHS Multipurpose Room. It will take about 30 minutes. Parents need to bring 2018 tax info (W-2's or 1040), Social Security numbers, and an FSAID if they have one.
From 5:00-6:00 p.m., an Ozarks Technical Community College financial aid rep will give a presentation about financial aid.
If your student is planning to attend college they should fill out the FAFSA, even if you do not believe they will qualify for grants.
